WHERE HERITAGE
MEETS INNOVATION

ACOL was born at the intersection where Italian racing heritage meets the precision of Korea’s fully in-house engineering. It is a new high-end performance brand built on excellence.

The instinct of elite sport, the craftsmanship devoted to perfection, and a level of technology few can match.

ACOL does not stop at preserving tradition, it elevates it, redefining its value through innovation.

ALEX COLNAGO

A Bridge Between Tradition and Innovation

Raised at the Heart of Italian Racing

Alessandro Colnago grew up with Grand Tours, classic races, and World Tour events as the everyday backdrop of his life.

He learned by watching elite riders up close what equipment they trusted, what discomforts they endured, and in which moments they placed absolute faith in their bicycles.

“A bike that survives real racing is a truly great bike.”
The Experience of Winning, Built Over Years of Supporting Elite Riders

Alongside his family’s brand, Alex supported riders competing on the world’s biggest stages, sharing countless victories and podium finishes.

Through those years, he came to understand:

•  What matters more than specs is

   trust  on the road.
• More than numbers, it’s the rider’s

  feeling  that counts.
• More than a catalog, the only proof that

matters  is a bike crossing the finish line.

These realizations would later form the backbone of ACOL’s design philosophy.

Imagining a New Brand for a New Era

Drawing on everything he learned from a lifetime in the racing world, Alex set out to create an entirely new high-end brand that respects tradition while embracing new technologies and modern development methods to shape the next generation of racing bicycles.

WIAWIS

Winning Action
Winning Spirit
Born from an Athlete’s Pursuit of Better Equipment

WIAWIS began with its founder, a former national archery team athlete and head coach. Having spent years in competition and training, he understood better than anyone how equipment designed by an athlete could make a real difference for the athletes who rely on it.

So he made a clear decision:

“Let’s build equipment through the eyes of an athlete, for athletes.”

This was the starting point of WIAWIS.

A Philosophy of Accuracy and Reliability, Rooted in Athlete Experience

The founder knew that in competition, a 1mm deviation, accumulated fatigue in training, or a split-second lapse in confidence could decide the outcome.
That is why the first principle of WIAWIS was not technology, it was the athlete’s sense of precision and trust. This philosophy became the foundation for every product WIAWIS would develop.

The Importance of ‘Making It Yourself’ from an Athlete’s Perspective

He realized early that perfecting equipment required a complete understanding of its principles, structure, materials, and manufacturing methods. From day one, WIAWIS adopted the belief:

“Equipment for athletes cannot be outsourced.”

This conviction later became the seed that grew into a full in-house manufacturing system.

Expanding the Philosophy of Precision Sports Equipment into Cycling

The precision and consistency proven in archery carried directly into WIAWIS’s bicycle development.
The reason WIAWIS began making bicycles was simple:

“Sports equipment should be designed by sportspeople.”

So WIAWIS chose to design, build, and verify its bicycles entirely in-house—right from the very beginning.

Advanced Composite Technology, Now Applied Fully to Bicycles

As WIAWIS expanded its composite expertise into cycling, it intentionally chose a path different from other brands.

Today, WIAWIS performs nearly the entire process on its own:

• Carbon fiber selection
• Prepreg manufacturing
• Frame design, engineering & mold development
• Testing & feedback
• Painting & finishing

This rare, full in-house manufacturing structure allows WIAWIS to maintain 100% control over the performance and quality of each bicycle, an uncompromising approach built to meet the standards of elite athletes.

Like many great craft-based brands, WIAWIS is also family-run, enabling fast and flexible decision-making:

• New test requirements

  → immediately reflected in design
• Rider feedback → rapid prototyping
• Market shifts → swift response

This fast-paced development culture fuels WIAWIS’s obsession with creating true high-end products.

The Moment They Meet

Different Paths,
One Shared Goal

Alex, who began his journey in Italy, and WIAWIS, whose roots are in Korea.
They grew along completely different paths, yet shared the same core values:

• A philosophy of building equipment for elite athletes
• Experience proven through real victories and medals
• Agile decision-making rooted in family-run leadership
• An unwavering obsession with “true high-end” performance

And when the two finally crossed paths, one question emerged naturally:

“If we create together, couldn’t we build a bicycle the world has never seen?”

One Project,
One Vision

Alex brings his insights from the racing world.
WIAWIS brings its full in-house manufacturing and material expertise.

The two teams decide not simply to collaborate, but to become true development partners sharing a single vision:
to create a new high-end racing bicycle, one that elite athletes would genuinely choose.

From this moment, their timelines merge under a single name:

The Birth of the ACOL Development Team

Alex’s racing heritage joins forces with WIAWIS’s engineering team:

• Trackside feedback
• Advanced composite engineering
• Full in-house manufacturing
• Fast, agile decision-making

Together, they build a development culture unique to ACOL.

2024. The First ACOL Lineup Is Born

And finally,
the first lineup to carry the ACOL name is unveiled:

• SL – a 686g ultralight climbing machine
• DIVINUS – pure aerodynamic race performance
• TUSCIA – freedom to ride any terrain
• DNA – modern performance in a classic silhouette

Every model shares one uncompromising principle:
“It must satisfy the standards of elite riders.”

ACOL Today,
and the Next Chapter

ACOL is still a young brand.
But its roots are deep, its technology solid,
and its philosophy unmistakably clear:

• Design born from racing
• Quality built through full in-house manufacturing
• Innovation driven by fast, decisive development
• An obsession with high-end performance

And now, ACOL continues its journey, moving forward along a single, unified timeline toward the future.

Cycling Is in Our DNA.
And Our DNA Is Built to Win.
