The Perfect Convergence: Agile All-Round Performance Meets Aero Efficiency

The IMPERO is engineered to unify two traditionally distinct frame characteristics into one cohesive, high-performance platform.

The rear triangle features an ultra-lightweight SL structure, maximizing responsiveness and delivering outstanding climbing efficiency. In contrast, the front triangle leverages design principles from our aerodynamic DIVINUS platform to significantly reduce drag at high speeds.

This synergistic combination guarantees optimized performance across every cycling scenario—from explosive race sprints to demanding extended endurance rides.

The IMPERO transcends the definition of a mere all-rounder; it is a multi-character frame meticulously designed to dominate the widest spectrum of riding environments.

The ACOL Development Philosophy: Perfecting the Imbalance

The IMPERO pursues the perfect balance across four core elements: aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness, and ride comfort. Our unique development philosophy at ACOL lies in harmoniously integrating these factors, which are often considered mutually exclusive.

To achieve this, every detail—from the tube configuration and carbon layup to the molding process—was reviewed from the ground up during the design phase. We aggressively eliminated unnecessary elements while rigorously maintaining stiffness. Simultaneously, we optimized the airflow and ensured superior ride comfort.

The result is the IMPERO: a true all-rounder meticulously perfected to deliver peak performance regardless of the terrain or riding situation.

Optimized Structure

The IMPERO was engineered with the core objective of eliminating the superfluous while retaining essential stiffness.

This structural simplification involves a design that reduces bonding surfaces, effectively removing potential weak points found in conventional frame construction. This refinement simultaneously achieves a more monolithic stiffness, promoting greater integrity across the platform. Furthermore, this design ensures a more uniform pressure distribution during the crucial molding process.

The rear triangle, which has a lesser aerodynamic impact than the front triangle, was refined into a rounded, simple shape optimized for ultimate weight reduction. The geometry and internal structure of this section are founded upon invaluable data accumulated from our ultra-lightweight SL model.

Stiffness Without Compromise

Critically, this weight reduction does not result in any loss of stiffness. Through precise carbon layup and structural optimization, the stiffness-to-weight ratio has been significantly improved. This enhancement is rigorously validated by both real-world stiffness measurement data and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulations.

The bottom bracket and chainstays are engineered to efficiently transfer the torque generated during pedaling. As a direct result, the frame responds instantly without any measurable flex during sprints and climbs. This design achieves energy loss-free power transmission even under high-output scenarios exceeding 400 watts.

By successfully satisfying the conflicting demands of both lightness and stiffness, the IMPERO establishes a new benchmark for frame rigidity.

The Impero Fork with Impact Spine

The IMPERO fork is not merely designed for lightness. It is built for absolute resilience. It sustains consistent performance even after a grueling 300,000 durability cycles—three times the industry standard of ISO 4210 (100,000 cycles)—and demonstrates a significantly reduced displacement compared to previous generations.

The secret to this unmatched strength lies in the Impact Spine structure engineered within the fork.

This innovative reinforcement system, which supports the central axis of the fork much like the human spine, simultaneously elevates stiffness and durability by suppressing deformation, even under heavy loads and repeated impacts.

While conventional forks accumulate micro-deformations after tens of thousands of cycles, the IMPERO fork, featuring the Impact Spine, maintains its superior durability and consistent performance even after the full 300,000-cycle test.

Comfort Engineered for Endurance

The IMPERO goes beyond mere lightness and stiffness.

The precise lines and meticulous carbon layup of the rear triangle—refined using the experience accumulated with our SL model—effectively dampen road vibrations, significantly reducing fatigue during extended rides.

Crucially, the rear triangle and seatpost are designed to boost vertical compliance for impact mitigation while rigorously preserving lateral stiffness. This innovative balance ensures a stable, comfortable ride that delivers zero power loss—a true mark of an enduring and high-performance machine.

Optimized Fit and Geometry

The IMPERO is offered in seven sizes, ranging from XXS to XL, ensuring an optimal choice for every rider with diverse body types and fitting requirements.

Notably, the smallest size, XXS, features a low standover height designed to accommodate riders under 160cm comfortably. This careful consideration ensures that even smaller or female riders can effortlessly achieve a natural and perfect riding position.

The updated Race Geometry delivers agile responsiveness across all conditions—climbs, flats, and sprints—while maintaining a balanced design that prioritizes comfort for long-distance endurance rides.

Combined with customizable handlebar sizes, the flexible fitting options allow every rider, regardless of height, arm length, or shoulder width, to achieve a personal, tailor-made setup that is perfectly matched to their physical needs.
